MUSCAT — Oman football team are scheduled to play India in an international friendly on February 23. According to Indian news reports, the friendly will be played in Muscat. India will be playing the match as part of their preparations for the forthcoming AFC Challenge Cup in Kathmandu. Oman are scheduled to take on Thailand in a crucial and final third round qualifier for the 2014 World Cup at home on February 29. The AFC Challenge Cup will be held in Kathmandu from March 8 to 19. The winner of the tournament will qualify for the 2015 Asian Cup to be held in Australia.
