MUSCAT — Taiseer Electronics won the Ramadhan tape ball cricket tournament beating Star Light Stallions by 27 runs at Pakistan School Muscat recently.
In the final of the tournament organised by Pakistan Social Club and supported by Omantel, Taiseer Electronics who won the toss and batted first, scored 130 runs in the allotted eight overs with major contribution coming from man-of-the-match Asif (43). In reply, the Stallions could manage only 103.
Micheal Horop, General Manager, Omantel was the chief guest of the final.
Ahsan Wagan, Kanak Khimji, President of OCC, Madhu Jasrani, General Secretary of OCC, and officials of Pakistan Social Club witnessed the final.
Boukhari, General Secretary of PSC welcomed the guests at prize distribution ceremony and thanked Kaleem, Safdar Khan, Raja Qaiser and Azfar Hussain who contributed to the success of the tournament.
Micheal Horop appreciated the teams played in the final and ensured PSC that Omantel would continue to support such events in future also. He presented the runners-up trophy along with a cheque of $500 to the captain.
