Oman Air daily flights to DammamWed, 08 September 2010
![]() By A Staff Reporter - MUSCAT — Oman Air announced the introduction of daily flights to the Saudi Arabian city of Damman via Muscat from September 1. On the maiden voyage to Dammam, Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Raisi, Chief Officer Management Affairs, led a delegation of senior Oman Air executives. A cake-cutting ceremony took place at the King Fahd Airport to commemorate the occasion. The airline will deploy a two-class state-of-the-art Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the route. From its primary hub in Muscat, Oman Air’s guests may connect on to the airline’s daily services to several of its other overseas international destinations and vice-versa. Speaking on the occasion, Al Raisi said: “Oman Air is very pleased to commence this new route. The national carrier of Oman has already established itself as a prestigious brand in this intensely regional competitive sector in a relatively short period of time, on accord of the warmth of its service and quality of its in-flight product.” Dammam is Oman Air’s 39th international destination and the third in Saudi Arabia after Jeddah and Riyadh. The daily flight will depart from Muscat at 07.10 pm and arrive in Dammam at 07.55 pm (local time). The return flight will leave Damman at 08.45 pm and arrive in Muscat at 11.10 pm. |
