MUSCAT — Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) will today conclude its Ramadhan nights with the sixth night covering labour laws, labour rights, human rights and the efforts made to combat human trafficking. The night, which will be held at OCCI Headquarters will also cover decent work convention which was signed recently, the activity of the Sultanate’s General Trade Union during the last period and raising awareness of the aims and programmes of the National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR) and the National Committee for Combating Human Trafficking. Mohammed bin Abdullah al Riyami, NCHR Chairman, Sayyid Hamad bin Hilal al Busaidy, Manpower Under-Secretary, Khalil bin Abdullah al Khonji, OCCI Chairman, Col Abdullah al Harthy, member and co-ordinator of the National Commission for Combating Human Trafficking and Saud Bin Ali al Jabri, Chairman of the General Trade Union will attend. — ONA |
